Dolphin PG College in run by Yuva Education Society, New Delhi for the purpose of imparting technical education in the rural area of district Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab. The College incepted in 2020 aims at providing excellent higher education in paramedical courses in the beginning. Keeping in mind the practical hand on training of the students, the college has developed ample infrastructure in the form of laboratories equipped with modern equipments. The college has sufficient number of volumes in library. In addition to transport facility for staff and student of nearby areas, there are two separate hostels for boy and girl students of far off places. Well trained and experienced faculty has been recruited in different departments of the college.

  • Candidate Registration: Candidate will register for admission online by following the link given on university website (www.mrsptu.ac.in) At the end of registration process, a registration ID will be provided. Candidates who have done pre-registration can skip Step 1.   • Counselling Fee Payment: Candidate will login to portal with Registration ID and Password. He will be automatically re-directed to pay counselling fee online. In case candidate has already paid fee during pre-registration, skip this step and move to step 3.
  • Application form Filling: Candidate will login with registration ID and password and proceed to fill the detailed application form, by following the instruction on the portal. All mandatory fields are marked with (*).
  • Choice Filling: Once application form is filled, candidate will provide list of institutes of his/her choice in the order of preference.
  • Save and Lock: At the end candidate will have to Save and LOCK the form. Once a form is locked further modifications are not possible. Only Locked forms are considered in counselling rounds.
  • Merit Generation & Seat Allocation: Merit generation and seat allocation will be done as per schedule provided on University website. As soon as the result is declared, it is available in the student login ID in Results Tab. (this tab will be active only when result is declared.). Provisional Seat Allocation letter will be downloadable from Student login ID. It will have the details of the institute allocated and instructions.
  • Student Reporting: Institutes will have to publish Admission related instructions to the students on their website. Considering the COVID-19 situation and government guidelines, procedure to be established to make sure that there should be no need for candidates to be physically present. Procedure should clearly mention the instruction to submit supporting documents and required fees online, via electronic means. (It can be email or online form for document submission and any online mechanism for fee deposit as acceptable by Institute.) Candidate will follow the instructions published by institutes and submit required documents.
  • Admission Confirmation: Institute will upload the document copies submitted by students to university admissions portal and confirm the Admission. Any allocated seat not confirmed by institute will be automatically released and will be available for next round of counselling.

Process to be followed for Online Student Reporting (Step No. 7 Above)

  • As soon as the result is published, Allocated candidates will be visible in Institute / college logins.
  • Institutes / Colleges can download the list of allocated students from admissions portal.
  • Institute / Colleges need to get scanned copies for required certificates from candidates as configured in the portal. Link of portal to upload documents is shared to respective colleges via email. Access to document store is also sent via separate email to individual institutes. Candidates may use the link for sending documents online to respective institutes.
  • Institutes / Colleges are free to use any other mechanism for online document collection e.g. email / their own portal etc. And inform candidates accordingly to submit the documents.
  • Institute / Colleges should verify the documents from candidates and upload the same to Admissions portal in college logins.
  • Institutes / colleges should also publish the mechanism to collect fees online from candidates (in case they cannot come to colleges due to COVID-19 restrictions.) on their institute’s website.
  • University will publish the College / Institute information along with contact details on university portal for easy access to candidates.
  • Once the seat is confirmed by institute / college. It will be deducted from total available seats and remaining seats will be application for next counselling rounds.

  • The college is situated in V.P.O. Chunni Kalan, Distt fatehgarh sahib, Punjab, on Chandigarh-Sirhind state highway. It is 18 Km away from Chandigarh towards Sirhind and 20 Km away from Sirhind towards Chandigarh. Frequent Busses are available from Chandigarh ISBT, Sector-43, from Counter No-13. Before boarding ensures that the bus is going to Sirhind. It will drop you at Chunni-kalan. The college is about 300 meter on highway towards sirhind from Chunni-Kalan bus stop.

Fee Payment

The total fee for the year including hostel charges (if applicable) will be payable in two equal installments (SEMESTER WISE, IN ADVANCE). Semester fees cannot be paid in part or installments.

Fees can be paid by any of the following mode:

Admission/semester fees must only be paid through Bank in college A/c online and submit receipt/ proof at the Accounts Office of the college on any working day from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

NOTE: Fee will be considered PAID only when students get receipt from college accounts branch after depositing fee in the college bank A/C.

JURISDICTION

Disputes, if any, arising out of this Admission Policy & Selection Procedure shall be the subject matter of exclusively of courts in FATEHGARH SAHIB only. All rules & regulations are subjected to change without prior notice and all revisions/addiyions in rules will be a binding on the students. All disputes are subjected to Fatehgarh Jurisdiction.

Radiography uses technically sophisticated equipment that produces x-radiation used to create images of the human body. If you have a strong background in math and science, this program will prepare you for a career as a radiographer. B.Sc. in Radiography & Imaging Technology is a 3-year undergraduate course in Medical Lab Technology. B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Sciences is a paramedical program that offers practical and theoretical knowledge about the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of various kinds of diseases and health problems with the help of clinical laboratory tests. Medical Laboratory professionals play an important role in the diagnosis of the diseases and providing the best care and treatment available for it. During the program, students learn to detect and diagnose diseases and learn about the different treatments available for them. They also acquire knowledge about the collection and sampling of important data, testing, documentation, and reporting for the same. DEPT OF OPERATION THEATRE TECHNOLOGY

Operation Theatre Technicians are allied healthcare professionals. Their tasks include assisting Doctors in Surgery, arranging surgical instruments before surgery, sterilizing instrumentation before surgery, cleaning surgical instruments after surgery, carrying out Surgeons' commands during surgery and taking care of anaesthesia equipment. Operation Theatre Technology programme is one of the new and upcoming fields of interest when it comes to professional programmes and coursework. The more astute and nuanced medical sciences fields are becoming; there is a requirement for more professionals in the field. In short, OT Technicians work at Operation Theatre of hospitals, Intensive Care Units as well as Emergency Departments. Their main task is to assist Doctors and Surgeons during surgery or emergency procedures. For any operation theatre to function smoothly, OT Technicians are needed! It is a profession which deals with a combination of professionalism, skills and most importantly ethics. An OT technician is in charge of the Operation Theatre as well as handling the equipment with care and caution. Their primary role is to assist the Surgeons, Specialist, Anaesthesiologists and Nurses. Along with that they prepare and organize surgical instruments before surgery, cleaning instruments before surgery, obeying surgeons order amid surgery or crisis strategies and dealing with anaesthesia equipment. This degree programme trains and equips students, looking to make a mark in a medical stream like optometry that is fast gaining popularity in India and abroad. The B Sc. Optometry offered here is a 4-year degree course. Eligibility Criteria The basic eligibility criterion for pursuing the course is a 10+2 or equivalent qualification in the Science stream (Medical and Non Medical) from a recognized educational Board, with a minimum aggregate score of 45% for General/OBC and MISSION Optometrists are licensed to examine your eyes for any vision defects or any eye diseases. Their four -year training prepares them to diagnose and treat primary eye diseases and injuries as well as to prescribe glasses, contact lenses, and other devices to enhance your vision. When they determine there is a problem, they can prescribe medications or other appropriate therapies. As part of your health care team,optometrist will work with your family physician and other medical professionals to coordinate your care. Career Opportunities Optometrists are becoming highly in demand because they can practice in their own with other eye care professionals, engaged in research or teaching. The profession of Optometry throws open interesting possibilities like: • Correction of refractive errors of the eye and prescription of glasses. • Designing and fitting of contact lenses, prosthetic eye s and low vision aids. • Evaluation of the health status of the eye and referring patients to ophthalmologists at the right stage. • Detection of ocular related diseases like Cataract, Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy etc. • Diagnosis and treatment of ocular malfunction. • Practice Public Health Optometry in schools, colleges, slums, and rural area. • Practice Occupational Optometry in industries. • Conduct Optometric counselling for patients with patient sight, colour blindness, hereditary vision defects and disease etc. • Conduct vision rehabilitation and follow-up work of discharged patients. • Participate in public education on ocular hygiene and provide counselling in nutritional related and environmental awareness.
